About Ferncourt Public School
Ferncourt Public School is located in South Marrickville, alongside the Cooks River, in an area known as 'The Warren'. The land on which the Ferncourt School stands has been part of the land that the Cadigal tribe of Aboriginal Australians lived and depended on for thousands of years.
With an enrolment of around 360 students, Ferncourt Public School offers a stimulating teaching and learning program for students of the 21st century. In addition to standard classes, they also offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities with an emphasis on the creative arts and physical fitness. Activities include choirs, training and performing bands, dance groups, recorder groups and PSSA sport.
To complement their award winning grounds, Ferncourt PS worked with Astra Street Furniture to customise the standard Athens Bin Enclosures to suit their waste stream needs and added their logo to the front of the doors for extra personalisation.
