Reaching heights of 40 metres (130 feet), teak is a majestic hardwood species that is naturally a silky golden brown texture before weathering.This exceptional timber is technically a hardwood (contains both soft and hard grain) with high oil content giving it a strength and durability that make it ideal for outdoor use without maintenance or preservatives.

Tectona Grandis as it is known scientifically, is resistant to water, decay, severe cracking, warping and termites.
