Wodonga Primary School is a happy and vibrant place with a wide curriculum and a diverse enrollment of 800 students. With almost 150 years of history, it all began in 1875 with a simple bark hut and just 21 students. Situated on the Murray River near the foothills of the Victorian Alps and Snowy Mountains, Wodonga enjoys the best of natural environments in which to stimulate the mind, explore the full range of curricular disciplines and engage with all cultures. Proud of their outdoor spaces, the staff at Wodonga Primary School put a lot of time and care into the school gardens to ensure they are a place that students, parents and the wider community want to come to. There are many benefits in outdoor learning spaces – they are good for physical health, mental health, providing new, interesting and innovative ways to learn, connect with the environment and get a greater understanding of sustainability.

To help promote happy lunch breaks, outdoor learning, social skills and collaboration beyond the classroom walls, the Assistant Principal recently selected Area Safe Products to supply a fleet of their second-to-none AS Urban Spencer Round Picnic Settings, including a special wheelchair access picnic setting (to ensure DDA and equal access requirements are met) and eight 4-sided settings that accommodate 8-12 students each.
