About Newbury Primary School

The history of Newbury Primary School doesn’t date too far back, with the school only recently opening in 2017 with 279 students enrolled. Now, the school has over 1,000 students and a skilled group of trained educators. Located in the north western corridor of Craigieburn, they have been experiencing a rapidly increasing population. This growth is predominantly at the Prep to Year Two levels, with a large percentage of the enrolled students having English as an additional language.

Through the past 5 years, the school has continually shown great pride in providing a safe, secure and educationally stimulating learning environment, where they continue to focus on the emotional, social and academic growth of every student. In order to create an educationally stimulating learning environment for each of its students, it is important to offer facilities to conduct outdoor classrooms and collaborative learning opportunities. This is where the aluminium benches and picnic settings play a role in delivering this style of learning for both the students and teachers.
